Raya Shr-Lan Banawan
At 12:39 PM on Saturday March 20th, 2010, Raya Shr-Lan Banawan was born. Like her brother, she decided that letting her parents get a good night’s rest before the Big Reveal wasn’t an acceptable solution. She came out a very puffy bundle of cuteness weighing “thirty six fifteen” (7 lbs. 15 oz. when translated out of nursespeak) and measured 20” long, like her brother. To mock her brother, she weighed 10 oz more than he did. To mock her father, she has substantially more hair on her head than he does. And I won’t get into the already fun mother/daughter stuff we’re having to deal with!
Patty, Zeki and I are super excited that she’s here and that everything went so smoothly with the pregnancy and delivery. Here are some photos from the past day or so.
