Dusting off the cobwebs!
After yet another long hiatus, we’ve got some new photos and videos to share.
First, Zeki got an Eid gift from an unknown benefactor (really, who gave him this awesome scooter? It wasn’t marked.)
About a month or so ago - time really does fly when you’re a parent - Zeki and his friend Geffen went to the NC Museum of Life and Science and spent some quality time playing together.
We have a trip to Hawaii left to chronicle and now that I’ve gotten the blog software upgraded and working well, I think we’ll be using the site again.
Site updates
We’ve been gone way too long and in the time since our last post, Dreamhost - the server that houses this site - has decided to break things and see if I noticed. I didn’t and I’m still not sure what happened. Our old gallery is broken beyond repair, which is fine by me because it drove me crazy, and the photos have been moved to SmugMug. They’re a bit of a mess because I was uploading them at 2 in the morning but they’re there.
I’ve also updated the site’s software to Wordpress 2.6.5 but that’s inside baseball. I know the photos in the right sidebar are broken but I’m working on it. If you notice anything else broken, please let me know.

Happy 1st Birthday Zeki!
2190 diapers + 1825 bottles + 997 lullabies + 2 sleep deprived parents = the first fabulous year of Zeki’s life! Along with the diapers and bottles there have been a million smiles and giggles and delightful moments. And we managed to do all this without doing any (permanent) damage to him!
